Crescent Fresh Music Video: Soul to Squeeze

I’m not one to take a hard-line on anything, especially music, but "Soul to Squeeze" is and always will be the best Red Hot Chili Peppers song. It’s irrefutably gorgeous and revolutionary for the Chili Peppers in that California isn’t mentioned once. Though the music video was apparently released in 1993, the actual song was only available on the Coneheads soundtrack for years.

Why this video is super cres:

While a lot of movie tie-in music videos insert random clips from the film in an attempt to illustrate some negligible connection, director Kevin Kerslake seamlessly melds the solemnity of "Soul to Squeeze" with the silliness of Coneheads through cinematography, the video’s carnival freak show setting, and the thoughtful placement of (a) a conehead, (b) a puppy, and (c) a Chris Farley.

I haven't heard that song in a minute. I love Keidis' (sp?) medusa look.
